today was an odd christmas eve. usually on christmas eve we clean house and do everything else we haven't gotten done yet. last night i didn't go to bed till like 3, so i didn't even get up today until 10:30. then i made some buckeyes while mom was at work. dad got home around 12:30, and mom got home around 1:30, so we ate lunch a little bit after that. then we opened presents. that was odd. it was like 2:15 and we were opening presents... we've never opened anything before christmas day before. but it was nice. rusty bought me Mr. Bean!! how about i've watched like 6 episodes already (starting with the christmas one, of course, cuz its freaking hilarious!!). how can someone who hardly ever talks make us laugh so much? rowan atkinson is my hero...
i did the dishes, then rusty tim and i watched half of X2. then we went to church, for the strangest christmas eve service ever... first of all, we took communion. hmmm.... strange. second of all, no one read the christmas story!! how wrong is that? so to remedy that, let's refresh our memory... read.. :)

"Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. mmm... that makes it better. :) now i'm off to bed. we're leaving here at 6:30 to go to my aunt and uncle's house in dublin. nothing like a nice 3 and a half hour ride to make us want to kill each other on christmas morning... i mean bring the family closer together. :)
